Glyn Bailey has unveiled a new song and video entitled “Geoff’s Boots”
The song is about the importance and nostalgia we attach to certain items. In the song, the owner of some football boots believes they belong to World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst.
Bailey has also described it as his attempt at becoming the “Alan Bennett of pop.”
The chanting and clapping on the track comes courtesy of Phil Senior & Jamie Singleton, who are members of Glyn’s band – Glyn Bailey & The Many Splendid Things.
