The Rainband to release “Rise Again” for charity

Manchester’s The Rainband are to release “Rise Again” and donate the profits to the Marco Simoncelli foundation.

The 4 piece Indie band will independently release the single on the 15th June after the foundation requested that they be allowed to use it as their official tribute song.

Martin Finningan, lead singer recently flew to Italy to meet the late Simoncelli’s father where they discussed the possibility.

They came to the decision that the song should be released independently after The Rainband’s record label asked for a return on the track, by releasing it off their own backs the band can give all profits to the charity.

The foundation was set up after Simoncelli was killed in an crash during the Malaysian grand prix in Sepang last year. The non-profit organisation aims to give money to good causes and to improve people’s lives with the donations they receive.

Information on how to buy the track will appear here when available.
