The Words launch single artwork competition

The Words are giving fans the chance to design the artwork for their latest single “Head Over Heels.”

Fans are being asked to send in their ideas for the single’s cover to band who will draw up a shortlist which can be voted on.

They are asking for “anything you think is relevant to the song or relevant to the band or any of the lyrics that are in the track.”

In terms of what is allowed they are pretty loose “It can be colourful, it can be black and white, it can be a photo, it can be something you’ve designed, it’s entirely up to every person.”

Those who wish to enter should send a SQUARE image of at least 1500 x 1500 to info@thewordsmusic.co.uk and give the email the subject “Head Over Heels Artwork.”

The winning image will be used on iTunes, Amazon, physical covers and also potentially on merchandise.

March 31st is the deadline, after which the band will pick their favourites for people to vote on.

Anyone who is interested but hasn’t heard the track can do so on their official website.

“Head Over Heels” is taken from Truth & Faith their debut album which was reviewed by Red Rose last year.
