The Troubadours reform!

Wigan’s Rockers The Troubadours have reformed two years after splitting up.

The band originally reformed for a one off gig in December 2011, played in Liverpool and will now reform full time.

Lead singer Mark Frith recently of The Captive Hearts explained on the band’s new website:

“Once we sold out the Liverpool Lomax and saw the public’s response to the fact we were reforming for the gig we were blown away by the reaction.”

He described the current situation as:

“We are back to how it felt in the beginning..four very close mates making music together and travelling the world…what happened in between was just a stop gap.”

The post on the website also explained they are back writing and recording and will tour, but no other details are given.

Also available are two free tracks.

One is an acoustic version of “Hurricane” available to download on the website and the second is “Surrender” which can be streamed for free on lead singer Mark Frith’s Soundcloud page.
