Rae Morris is an 18 years-young, Blackpool based, piano-playing singer. She is an absolute musical prodigy.
With untouchable talent, the voice of an angel and the song writing skills to match the masters of the industry, she is the epitome of natural, innate musicality. She manages to capture the experience of a musical veteran in her writing.
Seeing Rae play in a local pub, I was absolutely amazed, as were the rest of the pub. During the mid-level rumblings of talking, during the interval between acts, Rae simply began playing, without an any self introduction. In an instance, the pub chatterings fell flat. Stunned, everyone in the pub simply stood silently in awe at Rae’s beautiful music.
I’m filled with many strange emotions; it’s as if I’m listening to someone much older, much more experienced, but at only 19, Rae has barely started her career in music. She will soon catch the attention of the fat cats, and soon be shot into the bright lights of the music industry. In this, I hope she will be able to preserve her passionate, vulnerable self, because it is clear that this is where the genius is created.
It’s not often I will pay for music, but for Rae’s music, I would very willingly part with my hard earned student loan.
You need to hear this music, and I promise, you will be impressed.
